The “R” Word is the New “N” Word, Which Was The Old “L” Word

As a black man I rarely use the “N” word at home. I mostly use it at work, church and at my son’s school when I’m picking him up. I know; I know I’m a bad person. But now there’s an even more despicable word that has to be shorten to one letter……Retarded, whoops…….the “R” word.
Obama’s Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel found this out the hard way. Over the weekend he got into hot water with disabilities groups for saying some progressive lawmakers are "f---ing retarded”. Maybe Rahm was referring to the acronym?

Did you know the “R” word is an acronym? It stands for:

R-ahm
E-manuel
T-o
A-pologize
R-eignites
D-dialogue

Who knew…….

So does this proposed ban on the “R” word mean we can’t say Mental Retardation? Will doctors have to come up with another more PC diagnoses like Crazy People Syndrome? All I know is the “R” word isn’t really a word. It’s a letter that means the word retarded. So even if we say “you’re the “R” word" it’s still the same thing as saying the full word itself. So let’s just make sure people are held accountable for their language and stop trying to ban words. The NAACP try banning/burning the “N” word in 2004. They had a symbolic burial and everything and all I could think in my mind while watching this was Nigga Please………
